• When growing this mixture, the soil is intensively enriched with nitrogen – narrow-leaved lupine and fodder peas fix the free air nitrogen and make it accessible to ourselves and to the plants sown after them
• Deep-rooted plants take nutrients from deeper layers of the soil, converting some of the phosphates that are hardly available into soluble, which can be absorbed by the plants sown after
• Fast growing fodder radish and phacelia suppress weeds
• Fodder radish biofumigates the soil
