Brown mustard OPALESKA
Bassica juncea (L.) Czern.
A middle early brown mustard with dark-brown seeds, suitable to grow for seeds or green manure
- Medium plant height
- Resistant to lodging before harvest
- Resistant to diseases
- Medium weight of thousand grains
- Medium oil content in seed
- Seeds are used in food industry, mainly to preparation of special spicy mustard
The varietal parameters may differ from those indicated here when the testing circumstances differ from quondam
Recommended sowing rate: 100-120 plants/m² or 10-12 kg/ha
Recommended sowing rate when growing for green manure: 12-15 kg/ha
